How does a PT student go ziplining on a Friday during the semester? They don't! They help school children build and test ziplines.

PT and CSD students had a blast on Friday afternoon at the Douglas Libary supporting the WXXI STEM program and learning how to communicate and work with kids.

Yes, you can build a zipline with office supplies and some creativity!
We took the challenge and designed lots of different baskets and harnesses, strategizing how to speed down the line or make soft, safe landings.
