Naz Alum Jenna Zajac Awarded a Foundation for Physical Therapy Research Award


Congratulation to Naz Alum Jenna Zajac, '17, '19G, for receiving a Foundation for Physical Therapy Research Award



Jenna Zajac, PT, DPT, '17, '19G, is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in rehabilitation science program at Boston University. Her project titled: “The Relationship between Walking Capacity and Real-World Walking Activity in Persons with Parkinson Disease” was awarded the Patricia Leahy Award funded by the Neurology Endowment Fund. Foundation for Physical Therapy Research (FPTR) awards Promotion of Doctoral Studies (PODS) I Scholarships of $7,500 each year to physical therapists or physical therapist assistants who have completed at least two full semesters or three full quarters of their coursework toward a post-professional doctoral degree.  Read more about support from the FPTR for new investigators to begin their research careers and complete doctoral studies.
