Words of Wisdom as You Progress through the PT Program
What advice would you give yourself progressing through the PT program?
"Go into each clinical experience as a sponge. Absorb as much knowledge and experiences as possible to better yourself in the future"
Michael Seils '13 DPT, CSRS, Advanced Competency in Home Health
"Don't be so nervous! If you stop and look at the bigger picture when you're stuck on something it helps! Oh, and come up with more songs to help remember things"
Caroline Monaco '10 DPT, NCS, CSRS
"Keep going. It is possible, reaching all of those dreams. You're going to be a person helping other people, not just diseases and diagnoses. Learn well so you can help them, not just so you can pass an exam"
Sarah Capodagli '10 DPT, PRPC
"Make sure you're enjoying downtime outside of PT school too!"
Richard Monaco '10 DPT, OCS, COMT, DipMT, CertDN
"Be open to different clinical opportunities
Brittney Mazzone'13 DPT
"Work hard, study and retain as much as you can, as it will pay off in the long run. The working world is very competitive, you have to differentiate"
Dino Vasalos '04 MSPT, MBA, CSCS
"Life has a strange way of becoming more demanding after school. So, soak as much as possible in school, because doing so in a very comprehensive way can be challenging once out of the program"
Gregory Dixon '12 DPT, OCS
